A big part of what we do here at Republic Design House is sending our customers furniture that is already assembled for a hassle-free purchase. That’s why all of our stowaway box springs come completely assembled and just need to be taken out of the box.
The Material
Drawer components are made from 9-ply maple plywood.
The Construction
Premium drawer construction with English Dovetail joinery, corner blocks & center supports. All drawers are pre-assembled and pre-attached in a metal drawer cage.
Hardware
All drawers come equipped with 2 side mounted full extension ball-bearing drawer slides for full access to the drawer.
More About the STO-A-WAY Box Spring
The STO-A-WAY box spring is a furniture-grade storage mattress foundation used in place of a standard box spring or mattress foundation. Equipped with 4 extra-large premium constructed drawers, the STO-A-WAY provides 8.2 cubic feet of storage space, as much as a 6 drawer dresser. The drawer is constructed with 9-ply Birch plywood, uses English dovetail joinery, is supported with corner blocking and center supports, and lastly is attached to the foundation with 22" full extension ball bearing drawer slides. The STO-A-WAY sits on any standard metal bed frame, is approved by the CSPC to be used in conjunction with any mattress and is available in all mattress sizes.
